My professional organization; The International Technology Education Association (ITEA) keeps me busy in the national arena. Currently I am working with the Board of Directors on the Advisory Committee as well as being a member on the Elections Committee. Check out ITEA.
Here in the great state of Michigan, we have to affiliate professional organizations for Design Technology and Industrial Technology teachers. Michigan Industrial & Technology Education Society (MITES) focuses on several areas including student competition & state policy. While the Learning Institute for Technology Education (LITE) focuses in Professional Development & Teacher Recognition.
